Human With Two Faces!

Human with two faces is a very rarely found in the world. But there were/are cases I have found. I cannot find the medical explanation. I would rather want to share with you something that is quite mysterious. I am speechless!

Bill Durks

Bill does not have “2” faces actually. He was born with a condition known as frontonasal dysplasia, a birth defect that occurs when the two halves of an embryo’s face fail to come together completely. He had a deeply cleft lip and palate and a bifid, or double, nose – each half having only one nostril. What you’re seeing in the photo as a third eye in the center of his face was painted on by Bill himself, to fool excitable carnival-goers. – Punkinatrix

Robert Owen ‘Bob’ Melvin

He was born Schuyler County, Missouri, on May 9, 1920, one of six children of Fred and Hazel Melvin. Throughout his life he was examined by doctors, but all were unable to find a diagnosis for his deformity; Bob said it was simply “god’s sense of humor”. In his later years, however, he was found to have neurofibromatosis, a disorder that causes the spontaneous growth of fibrous tumors. Manifestations of NF differ greatly from patient to patient; some simply have brown birthmarks called cafe-au-lait spots, while others are greatly deformed. As a child, he was barred from attending school because of the way he looked; however, he did manage to obtain an education. He excelled at math and often helped with the bookkeeping for the sideshows.

Sam Alexander

He was born a relatively average man. In his early 20’s he was actively pursuing a career in theater and had been recently promoted at the Shubert Theatre in Chicago when personal disaster struck. Although the details are a little sketchy, Sam was ultimately involved in a huge gasoline explosion that was the result of his own carelessness. While he was able to instinctively save his eyes by raising his arm, he received deep burns around his lips and lower face. Even more unfortunate, his wounds festered and became severely infected. Doctors were forced to remove much of his lower face and lips, practically to the bone. As a result, Sam Alexander was left with a permanent and disturbing teeth-gnashing grimace and a gruesome visage.

Chang Tzu Ping

He was born with a second face, consisting of a mouth with a rudimentary tongue and several teeth, a bristly patch of scalp, and vestiges of eyes, nose, and ears. The throat of the second mouth was imperforate and the lips could not move independently, but when Chang opened his mouth, the second mouth opened too. In his small village he was called ‘Two-Faced Chang’ and feared by local children, who thought him to be a monster. However, when he was around 40 years old, some American soldiers in China discovered him and brought him back to the United States. He had the second face removed surgically and returned to live the remainder of his life in his native village.

Lali

Mother Sushma holds her daughter Lali at their residence in Saini Sunpura, 50 km (31 miles) east of New Delhi, India, Tuesday, April 8, 2008. The baby with two faces, two noses, two pairs of lips and two pairs of eyes was born on March 11 in a northern Indian village, where she is doing well and is being worshipped as the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess, her father said Tuesday. Edward Mordrake

Edward Mordrake (sometimes written Edward Mordake) is claimed to be a 19th century heir to one of the peerages in England who had an extra face on the back of his head. According to the story, the extra face could neither eat nor speak, but it could laugh and cry. Edward begged doctors to have his ‘devil twin’ removed, because, supposedly, it whispered horrible things to him at night, but no doctor would attempt it. He committed suicide at the age of 23.
